The time of the day when the flight is scheduled is also a factor in the pricing of the flights. Flights scheduled on the wee hours naturally can be cheaper since few people want to travel during those hours. So your chances of getting a last minute flight deals will be greater for these flights.

Flights with a lot of stopovers are also less popular than straight flights. So again, most likely you can get last minute flight deals for these. You really just have to be flexible and not be so choosy about the conditions of your flight. If you are willing to go on flights that not many people like, like early morning flights or flights with many stops, then you can make a lot of savings on last minute flight deals.
